I have two lights that came on my tank and there very dim.I want something that will bright and show the fish colors.Any recommendation???

What size tank? length?
Are we talking dim from old bulbs or just not enough light. There are so high intensity flourescents but you have to replace the ballast also.
If bulbs are ok, is there room for another set to be wired into the hood?
You could try lining your reflector aluminum foil, bright side out, if yours is white.
Or install a H.I.D. system like they use for coral (just don't cook your fish)
Also stock up on algaecide
