I have like 5 fat mosquitofish but there are no babies..only found 1 after 2 weeks, I think they are cannibalizing! They just run after the babies and try to eat them but i rescued one! I even have plant cover at the top...I wanted to have a self sustaining breeding colony like guppies. I feed them lots of flakes 2x a day. Please help!!!!!!

Do you have males and females? Females will hold sperm from previous matings, but they'll run out eventually.
Maybe get some ground cover as well? Like java-moss?

Yep, agree with Grinch. They need ground cover to hide. Java moss is excellent. Java fern is another low light option that doesn't look as messy. Shoot us a pic of the tank set up.
