HELP with Motoro PUP!!!!

got this little girl about a week ago, she was fine into the tank, fellow tank mates are peacock bass.they dnt bother her, she ate the first day i put her in, shes very active very curious, swims alot and walks on the glass alot. i woke up other morning to see a little cut/scrape on her face, looks like maybe she bumped into something??? i added some salt to the water and added some melafix, what do u guys think? look ok?

maybe a heater burn? im no expert but it kinda looks like a burn.

Do you have a heater in the tank without a guard?

i was thinking burn to. im trying to find a heater gaurd my local lfs or petsmart doesnt have any.

Foster and smith aquatics is where I get most of my equipment. I use the true temp titanium heaters in my ray tanks.

They also have some fluval brand ones that arn't so expensive and still have the guard, but don't have the digital controller.

Drill a ton of holes in a piece of pvc pipe and put it over the heater. Cheap, fast, and effective

ive done this with a couple of extra heaters in my tank , works a treat and cheap
