Hi,We just realized that when we got our shovel nose cats(1 tsn and 3 limas)they were only at three inches. Now its time to move them from a 150 to a 265.Will these guys get stuck in nets?Or what do you think the best way to move these guys is?They are around 12 to 14 inches long. Its about two feet from there old tank to the new tank.

I use a T-shirt. Much less thrashing and easier to catch as well.

Just slowly get the fish in a corner and wrap them in the shirt. Lift, deposit in new tank. Much less stress and water spilled.

I use that method for all my large cichlids. This is the CA/SA cichlid section, btw. ;)
