hey not sure if i am over reacting, but only newish to fish keping realy and have recenty got some mono's, to me they look like they should be starting to get color and seem a little dull, they are aroun1.5 to 2 inchs big, i can only get them to eat bloodworm, they will not eat pellets or anything else, i am not sure if it is their diet or not thats making them lack color, any recomendation on what i should do or if there is anything i am doing wrong, the water sits on 27.5 degrees everyday and the ph levals are great,

they will look like that till about 6 inches then they get really dark almost black at times then about at 30cm long they will explode in gold scales and black marking and will look like the best fish ever :) i feed my brine shrip and black worms till they were about 5 inches coz they wouldnt touch anything else then i got them on bits of prawn and then i would stuff the prawn with massivore pellets then finaly after a wile they will preaty much eat anything. i feed mine marinara mix wich is squid octapuss prawn fish musels etc. for 10 buck a killo and massivore pellets and they are growing great.

If they are only eating frozen bloodworms then try adding a little frozen brine shrimp to the mix. Thaw them out in a little cup. When you feed use a spoon and just drop in a little at a time. Feed in the same place in the tank everyday so they get used to it. When feeding such foods you need to feed atleast 2x daily...but 3-5x would be better if possible. Only feed as much as they will eat. THey will get used to you and their feeding corner. After they get used to this blood/brine mix start adding bits of crushed up pellets to the mix. Gradually increase this over time. Eventually they will be eating pellets :)

yea i agree, i think they just look dull becouse they are so small, i have one i just picked up around 2.5-3 and unusualy he is silver and black unlike my other bass that was more green at that size
