Help with my Brandti.

I got him Tuesday,he was fine that nite,but now he is very jumpy,he almost jumped out of the tank when i walked into the room.I tried feeding him some shrimp but he shows no interest,i'm going to try some smelt tommorrow.Are these fish always jumpy?Do you guys think that he will calm down??

well 1 of my friend has it but i havent heard much bout him complainin bout jumpin out the tank

yes they do get jumpy from time to time... just make sure that the tank has some hiding spots.. ie lots of live plants such as Amazon swords... then do not feed it for a few days... a week is fine also.. then it will be more receptive towards you
