HElP with my damselfly nymph!!!

HELP!!! (sorry i don't know which category this post falls under so i just put it in general)
HEEEELLLLPPPP! i have just spotted and taken out a damselfy nymph! I know these nymphs are highly predatory and the SADDEST thing is the fact that they are in my cherry SHRIMP TANK! My shrimps JUST gave birth, and my baby shrimps are in a very vulnerable position to the damselfly nymphs!

So i just wanted to know how damselfies come about to tanks like do they just drop in from above even though my tank has a cover? Do like the damselfly adults drop them into any tanks or do they only come in through plants only cause the last time i added a plan was a about a month ago.

I'll be checking for more nymphs but the good thing is that the nymph i caught was aprox 1inch so hopefully my cherry shrimps don't get killed too quicklly....

Actually, to be more specific, i was just wondering what type of tanks mother damselflies will lay their eggs.

Damselflies start out in the nymph stage, then they swim to shore and crawl out of the water to emerge into the adult flying stage. They have to be in the adult stage to lay eggs, so you shouldn't have to worry about more in your tank. It's amazing that you even found one in your tank.
