My Female Flowerhorn has been pooping white clear stringy poop. Its doesn't appear there is anything wrong with her. She just hovers near the back of the tank by the heater? She still eats though. I've read this is a bad sign? Hard to get clear pics but you can see the white poop. Any advice guys?20160123_100150.jpg 20160123_100147.jpg 20160123_100145.jpg 20160123_100140.jpg

I've had her around 2 months. I feed mostly pellets. Frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp twice a week. Shes been pooping white for like 2 weeks.

Big water change with epsom salt and dont leave left over food floating around. If she eats, try to feed her NLS thera A(it can cure HEX if fish eat). Smash it up because fish on Hex eat crumbs from the bottom if they do. Just leave water clean and warm high 80s with no fish to fend

I learned to never feed mine frozen bloodworms ever again...I swear, that's how one of mine contracted hex and eventually starved to death. They love it but not worth the risk for me.

I thought they were safe... That makes sense. Thanks!

I saw a video on YouTube with an American in Asia somewhere buying his first FH. The salesman told him to feed FH's nothing but pellets EVER!
I have done this and my fish do great. Grow fast and large KOK's! Never bloat and poop always normal. Keep them at 80 degrees. Pellets are designed as a good basic diet and work well. I prefer Hikari

What do I do if she's not eating? Just put Epsom in the water?
