Help with my FH

Hi guys just needed help with few things fr my new fh
if u can help me i am new to fish thingy
1 how many hours do i keep the lights on in the tank? Atm i only keep it on when feeding is that ok?
2 how do i deworm my fh and does it need to be any specific size to
Deworm or any size is ok fr deworming ? How does deworming help?

Lights are for our viewing pleasure. They don't help the fish, so only having them on during feeding is ok. Not sure about deworming. I've never had to do it.
