Ive currently seperated my female in a tank of her own, tho shes released 5 young still with there orange egg sacks and she seems to have no interest in them, her mouth still seems full, has she abandoned them? Not to mention to calm her dwn abit id like to add some sand as theres no substrate, wud this be wise with loose fry knockin around ?

Generally not a good idea to move females holding as they'll spit like yours did. Just turn the lights out and let her calm down. I wouldn't add any substrate.
