hey.... I'm brand new to MFK so bare with me..... I just obtained my first monster today. I got a female Jag about 13 or 14 inches long. She was a rehab fish from 3 years ago, who got beat up bad by a FlowerHorn. So.... for the past 3 years she's been the only one in her tank... a 45 gallon. She now moved to my 150 gallon and met my 6 inch red devil. It's her and him now, and she's showing that she wants to be Queen of the tank. Fortunately for the Red Devil... he's a bit of a bad ass and quite faster than she is. Should I worry about the Devil, or let him go. He has plenty of rockwork to weave in and out of where she can't get into.
Second question.... What would make a suitable tankmate for the large Jag? I was told to try a peacock bass about 8 inches, or a largemouth... but correct me if I'm wrong.... they're really aggressive! I have an option to take on a 10" parrot or a 14" irridescent shark? Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
