my managuense has something coming out of his u know what. What is it? Im pretty sure it isnt the breeding tube

Looks like rectum prolapse. Do you have a hospital tank? Please isolate him there. In the meantime, try epsom salt bath on him. Hopefully that will rectify the issue. What do you feed your fish?

Does it look like he is in pain? My sunfish's turds look similar to that. Just a thought. Good luck though, never had a problem like it.

NVM it was just their breeding tube and they laid eggs yesterday

serious injuriesor disease on a fish or not, pretty subjective to determine whether a fish looks like "it is in pain"
