Ok, so I'm trying to figure out what size sump tank I should get for my 800 gallon L-shaped glass tank.
It has dual overflows.
I have never done a sump set-up before.
I saw somewhere a guy used 55 gallon plastic drums, ( I was thinking i could plumb a few of those together and use them as a collective sump tank sort of thing, although I'm not sure exactly how)
Then it comes to heating ?
I've looked at inline heaters, they seem to be more suited to this application.
I can get a 120v 1.5kW spa heater and install it after the pump( has anybody tried this ? )
Had another idea, dont know if it would be feasible at all, radiant floor heating cable on the stand which the tank will be resting, and again its just an idea.
any advice would be greatly appreciated !
