Help with my new 9 gallon planted tank

Hi all.

I have made new 9 gallon tank to test my skill in planted tanks after i have read too much about it so this is my second attempt

and after my 1st attempt failed with a large tank so i would like your help and advise

note : i have read almost all the sticky's here in the forum

here is the setup for this 9 gallon tank

light is 2x compact fluorescent bulbs

1 bulb is 36 watts 6500 K with about 62 LM per watt with total 2232 LM

the other one is 23 watts 6500 K with 66 LM per watt with total 1518 lm

substrate is very soft white sand

CO2 is DIY yeast and sugar

water flow is gently on the leafs

filtration is power head takes the water to the tank cover to be filtrated

temp is about 25 ce , 77 Fah

So what do you think in this setup and advise me please

and my main question is that i have found an algae on the leafs and this what have destroyed my 1st planted tank attempt

so would you please tell me what to do with this algae

this pics are a bit old but now the plants looks more healthy than this pics and this algae affected the anubias to
