I have made new 9 gallon tank to test my skill in planted tanks after i have read too much about it so this is my second attempt
and after my 1st attempt failed with a large tank so i would like your help and advise
note : i have read almost all the sticky's here in the forum
here is the setup for this 9 gallon tank
light is 2x compact fluorescent bulbs
1 bulb is 36 watts 6500 K with about 62 LM per watt with total 2232 LM
the other one is 23 watts 6500 K with 66 LM per watt with total 1518 lm
substrate is very soft white sand
CO2 is DIY yeast and sugar
water flow is gently on the leafs
filtration is power head takes the water to the tank cover to be filtrated
temp is about 25 ce , 77 Fah
