hello guys, i need some help about my 4 nigerian lapradei's in my 75 gallon tank. 3 female 1 male.. 3 female is aroun 9-10" while male is around 13-14".. my problem is my lapradei's wont eat.. they've not eating their food for 5 days.. because last friday i just bought the male lapradei. so i was thinking that i should do fasting my lap for 5 days so they will eat all at the same time... then when i came back yesterday at my home, i've been trying to feed them but they are not eating their food they just snobbing it. what will i do guys?? their staple food with me is frozen small fish, here in philippines we call it "dilis" its a kind of small fish around 2-3 inch in lenght that lives in salt water.

another problem about my lap's

can lapradei's be trained in strong lighting? my bulb is a double daylight bulb.. because when everytime i turn the light on, they are keep on moving and moving.

how can my lapradei's grow faster?? what should i feed them?? any suggestions?? they are WC nigerian lapradei's

advance thanks for the answers...

another follow up question. what tankmate could you suggest for my bichir's? middle swimmer.. just enough for a 75 gallon tank.. predatory fish only. so it can eat what my bichir eat's also..

if you want to add more fish, get a bigger tank a 75 is too small for 4 laps. as for getting them to eat, what are your temps? my laps are pickey eaters too, always they last in the tank to eat. mine only seem to eat the tilapia and smelt, they don't seem too fond of shrimp scallop or squid

What are your parameters and tankmates? My bichirs seem to realish on live black worms, cut market shrimp, blood worms, mysis shrimp, Hikari sinking gold, sinking carnivore pellets, and massivore.

Try giving them a few more days, they maybe getting settled in with their new environment or the male lap.

its almost 7 days.. and yet they are still not eating.. the newly bought male lap came from a bichir collector... and it seems healthy.. so il wait 5 days again? and try to feed my lap's?
