My Red Oscar is been a bit strange today , flooting not swimming around the tank all morning on his side and even up side down . All the other fish are fine full of life swimming around like normal but the Red oscar is just not , every few minutes it will get a burst of energy and swim the whole lenght of the tank but then just fall back to the bottom . He was fine yesterday and weeks before but today when i turn on the light it was on his side in the front corner and now has managed to get him self into a tunnal away from everyone else in the tank .

I will if i can take a picture of him to see if you can any more info to help me . The only thing i can think of which could be wrong with him is last night when i fed the fish he went straight up to the top and gobbled all the pelltets about 8 - 9 , but i dont think it will be the problem .

I do know there lie on their side for a little time when there are abit upset . but i dont think like this .

PLEASE HELP ?

I dont want to loss him as he is about 4.5 inch now and i have only had him for about 3 months and then he was 2 inches .

Does his stomach look bloated?

So basicly he going die ?

Or can i help him get better ? As i really dont want to loss him .

sorry for your loss, were there any signs on the dead fish that pointed to one disease?

I didnt really see any thing on the Oscar just that he was very pale with not much colors and that he was on it's side all day . He was fine yesterday
