help with my piranha

i got a new piranha today around 4-6inches, and its not moving it just sits there. It moves every once in a while but only goes up to about 5-6 inches and then comes down like its sinking. Does anybody have any advice?

Give him time to settle in. Turn off your tanks lights and conver it with a blanket if need be.

I checked on him this morning. He was moving a whole lot with out sinking.

They will sometimes do that if new and alone, as long as it settles upright don't worry.

If it's a red belly you should get more than 4 so they school up. I thnik that just sitting there is normal for a pirahna. I have had many....and they really don't do much if they aren't eating.
