help with my tem

well i got my tem and it got this white stuff on him definitely not fungus though and then t went away yesterday and now its back. what should i do? the temps at 98-99 and all the parameters are good and i added salt already

it was 86 87 but it rose bc the weather got warmer

it will DIE in that temp.

your gonna boil your cichla you have to incorporate outside temps aswell when your settin the temps for your tank..
i.e in winter youll have it at 87, but obviously IF you have hot summers youll set it lower like 84-85 cause the outside temp will heat up your water and will probably bump it back to 87..

2-3 farenheit isnt much of a difference.
just keep it below 90!
