I gots me a 3'' TSN on wed. I took him home and put him in my 90 gallon frog tank. Now this tank was not intended to be his final home. I am planning on getting a 210 for him as soon as he out grows the 90 gal. Which I know will be less than a year. But he seems to just sit down in the corner of the tank and refuses to eat. I am guessing that the frogs have him stressed to the max. I have a few other tanks that I could put him in, I got a 125 with a FH, midas, JD, blue lobster and some barbs. I have a 10 gal with a couple of small ob peacocks and a zebra lobster. Then I have another 10 gallon tank with about a dozen baby blue lobsters between 1 and 2 inches. I think the baby lobster tank s the safest bet for him, but I don't want to see it eat all my babies either. So should I leave him in the frog tank or chance him with the ob peacocks for a day or two till i can get another tank set up for him?

I have tried shrimp pellets, pieces of cooked shrimp, beef heart, plankton and blood worms. I have been dropping the food right near him and he just lays there on the bottom. It seems like he basically does not move around unless one of the frogs gets spooked and swims under the water to where he is.

sorry to say something that is not of help here, but what is a TFN?

I can't get any guppies small enough for it at my lfs. Just short of buying a mollie that looks like its pregnant. I'm out of luck at the moment.

you'd be surprised what will fit in that mouth LOL, Try some raw shrimp maybe the smell will trigger it to eat... it's hard when they are this small cause they can't afford to be on a hunger strike for to long...Could you cage the Frogs for a day or two to see if he comes around then?

Mine just eat colorbit pellets :O He stuff himself and hes getting bigger, (not shy on food except scare of the big IT) and I still cant find a home for him yet x.x Hes around 3"
