I just got a steal of a deal on a 240 G acrylic tank off craigslist for 275 bones. Tanks in great shape I just have to drill it. I have a fluval fx5 that I plan on running in the tank as well as a 55 g sump.

I was thinking about running a Tanganyikan setup as I've got a group of 11 2" moba frontosa on the way.

The tanks dimensions are 8' x 2' x 2' any suggestions on the stocking list or set up in general?

I also love live plants and plan on having it lightly stock with them as well

You saved alot of money on this great steal. I love spending others money. So first things first.

1. What is the budget on this project?

great find...really good price for a 240

I don't have a budget for my fish :)

Well I'm not rolling in the cash flow or anything like that but I only get my fish the best so it might take me a month or two but I pretty good at budgeting for my fish even if it means that I don't eat for awhile lol

Also I don't know if most tanks are sealed up like that but I do know that the beauty of an acrylic is that I can open it up a bit with a little work. I plan on cutting the middle section back a few more inches
