I just got in my two new Kelberis from a well known member here on MFK, and they are very skinny and hides on the bottom of the tank all the time. They wont eat anything, not shrimp, not live feeders, krill, massivore pellets, or chopped up fish. I tried almost everything and they just wont eat. I want to fatten them up and get them back to a normal body shape. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture of them in my quarantine tank.

nice those from JL? they look very nice. maybe let them acclimiate to ya new tank. ont blast with feeders yet if i was you try everything but feeders and maybe they might take them.

It is my opinion that most Kelberis are very stubborn, shy and picky fish mine is the same way. It would not eat feeders at first then I tried guppies and it took them and developed aggression for live foods and now it will kill feeders but that is all it will not eat for a week if it doesnt get a feeder.

I beleive in John's sales thread he said they are only on feeders. So thats what i would feed them. Looks like you need them to eat asap.

As asked, what sized tank? What are the water parameters? Any tankmates?

they look pretty stressed!!! how big is the tank that they are in? YOU CAN SEND THEM TO ME!!! LOL

Thank you all for the replies. Tank size they are in right now is only a 100 gallon long. This is my quarantine tank for atleast 2 weeks before they go in my new 300 gallon wide tank. Yes, I have tried feeding smaller guppies, and they wont even touch them. They are in pretty bad shape! When I first got them in, both of them had torn fins and some white patches on them. Now one has a really bad tail with some sort of fungus growing on it. Anyone have any idea what it is??? My water temperature is at 82F, pH at 7.0, water is medium hard, 0 nitrates, and very low nitrites. What medication should I use for the white fungus???

try some aquarium salt and/or melafix or pimafix. They might just be stressed and need time to settle in. I'd go with whatever the previous owner said he was feeding them.
