Help with Oscars

I have 2 Oscars that have been together since they were 2" and are now 8-9". They have suddenly become aggressive towards each other and one is dominating the other. Any suggestions?

what is the size of the tank?

Remove the weaker or the stronger one? Or maybe it'll pass, sometimes once the pecking order is established, the dominate one will leave the weaker one alone for the most part, but until then, keep an eye on them, and seperate them if it gets bad. What size is the tank?
