I know there is a flowerhorn section but this section is larger and This isn't a flowerhorn/hybrid discussion. I bought a Flowerhorn last week and he is with my Carpintis and Oscar and they are getting along great (for now). The Flowerhorn however was very active when I got him and ate all my tiger barbs! however the past few days he has been very sluggish, and not moving around much. He ate but not as well as he usually does. This is day three and he Is still lethargic and sluggish and has had white poop. a bit of the poop had some regular color but the majority was white. All the other fish are fine and enjoying themselves and the water quality is perfect. What does this sound like he has? and what are some treatment options?

Even though I support everything posted in that article linked to above (I wrote it lol) If your fish is still eating I would highly recommend getting some NLS Hex-Shield pellets, and feeding those to your FH.
http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-supplies/fish-food-feeders/spectrum-hex-sheild-3mm-125-gram.html

This food is designed to treat S. vortens aka Hexamita. Along with the typical NLS high quality ingredients it contains Metronidazole, Magnesium Sulphate (epsom salt), Garlic, and some various flavor enhancers and immune stimulants.

It comes in 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm pellet sizes.

Definitely a medicated food that I would be feeding to newly acquired fish, especially hex prone fish such as flowerhorn.

edited to add ...... and if it isn't already obvious, don't add anymore tiger barbs to your tank.
