How do you guys keep your live plants at the bottom of the tank so that they dont float up.my buddy needs help so i posted the ? up for him

are the plants being disrupted by rowdy inhabitants or are they just floating up? what kind of substrate is he using?

yea his fish could be uprooting them, my oscar used to do it all the time was annoying as hell

get smaller fish or bigger plants...

my pleco is finally getting big enough to dig stuff up without trying to... i think rocks and fishingstring are going to be my first effort... after that i think its going to be suction cups and fishing string... and if both of those fail..... its time for more floating plants

i think his pleco might be doing it,he's just using some blue rocks, but he dont listen to me so he wanted some other guys to answer it,its only a 29 gallon with 10pounds of rock so really the substrate isnt deep enough for plants, idk he dont listen to me so i stopped helpingplus his tanks wayyyyyyyyyyyy overstocked
