So this the second time my polar blues have laid eggs. The first time they hatched but all go eaten by my other fish Right after they hatched. So this time they laid their eggs on a piece of driftwood. Im wondering if I could move just the piece of driftwood that the eggs are on into my shrimp tank Or do i Have to have the parents with? My only other open tank is a shrimp tank so I can’t move the parents to the shrimp tank with the eggs without having the parents eat the shrimp. Would it work just to move the babies and let them hatch and grown up a bit in my shrimp tank?

put a sponge wall barrier between the parents and eggs and make sure the eggs get enough circulation.
