Help with pum

Hi all, I am new with aquariums, i build my own tank it is about 55g custom size, and I build a wet/dry filter with siphon.
I read on the net that the tank water must be cycled from 6-10 times per hour, so my question is how much power do I need to pump water from the filter located under the main tank to the main tank?

when you buy the pump it should say something about the number of gallons or liters it pumps an hour. You should look for something in the 1000liters per hour range.

something around 600-700gph should be good for your tank.
