help with pump repair

I recently bought a used GenX GX4100 pump that was on a saltwater tank. When I tested it the flow was really weak with no head height. The flow from my MaxiJet 900 powerhead is stronger. It also makes a lot of noise when running.

I removed, inspected and cleaned the impeller shaft and nothing looked out of place. Is there anything else I can do to save this pump?

should I just take it outside and run it over with my truck?

try some lube for the impeller

I didn't use any lube but I finally got it to work like it's supposed to. I tested it inside of a full 75 gallon and it almost blew the water out of the tank! I fixed it by setting the impeller shaft attachment with the white plastic washer at the bottom. I think it pushed it up and gave it just enough height to spin freely and noiseless. Thank you, thank you. Now I can start on the plumbing.
