Hi guys, i am currently running 2x fx6 and eheim 2217 for my 200x90x60cm (285 gal) tank. My current turnover rate is about 5x tank size. (563x 2 + 265 : 1391/ 285 = 4.9)
Since i have an used 60 gal tank (100x45x50cm), thought i would make it as my first sump project.
I am trying to aim a 10x turnover rate from this sump which would be 2850 gallon/hr, what size of pvc i need to use to equalize the water output and input between the sump and the display tank?
Is it actually possible to get a 10x turnover rate with a 60gal sump in a 285 gal tank?
Side note : The tank is not drilled
