Hey MFK members, i need a little help with my vampire tetra(scomb)(5 inches) that my spotted gar (11 inches) tried to eat!! i caught him trying to swallow and stuck my hand and gave a light tap and he let go of the vampire tetra.... he then began swimming upside and sideways so i took him into a breeding net within the same tank and he was upside down for two days and his belly began to expand. my guess was that the gars teeth punctured his swim bladder causing him to lose balance but he is now upright normal but swill has some battle scars and fins ripped, ive added salt so far and oxygen but i didnt want to add any medications yet cause i know how sensitive they are to it, i just wanted some opinions from you guys!! thanks!
