Help with Salvini variants

Looking for anyone who shed light on these two Salvini's, I'm assuming they're different colors because they're from different locations. I purchased one as a male and the other as a female. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I don't see a Salvini in the first picture . . . at least, not a fish that I recognize as a Salvini

if you could post a better picture of the other "Salvini", that would help . . .

the salvini is front and center in the first picture. The second fish is a jewel cichlid, not a salvini.

I know that it's a Jewel Cichlid, I bought it as such. The Salvini in the second pic is in the upper right hand corner, in yellow.

Pic two is a female for sure. I can't really make out pic one I'm on my phone in bed and don't want to go to the computer.

Salvini in pic one caught the glare a bit much. Looks male in pic 1 and female in pic 2. I suck at sexing sals though.

I'm gonna say pic one is a short beefy male. Maybee its a funny angle. Males have a lot of blue spangels and females have (most of the time) a black splotch on there gill cover. If they breed watchout. Not much cand stand up to a male salvini protecting his turf.

Looks like a standard male/female salvini.

Pic 1 is a male and pic 2 is a female. Males and females will look different, but not sure if they are different varriants.
