help with selling silver aro

im looking into selling my 2 silver aros which are 24". they are perfectly healthy with minimal scratches on its face from the jumpings. most likely going to sell them locally on craigslist or kijiji. just need help on pricing.
any help would be appreciated.

the problem you are going to have is not that they are nice fish. It's that you need at least a 180 for these guys. B/c they will be around 30" sooner then later. So I would say...

1. Does any LFS sell small silvers?
2. If so ask them if they were to get one the size of yours what would they ask for it?
3. do you need cash or do you want them out?


I personally would ask at the lowest $100 each. highest around $250 each. but that's me and I got a CRAZY LFS that like to sell 10" silvers for $300-400 !!!!

I didn't say they sell may but they sell them for that price. It's Stupid expensive. But good for us who have some b/c we can justify higher prices if we sell ours b/c this place is WAY overboard. lol

Here's in MN 7" Silvers are $70-$80 and 5" Jars are $100. I saw a shop that had a 18" silver for $1000. It was gone in a week (I don't know if it sold).

try the buy and sell section. Who knows may be a fellow MFKer would like one already grown. It is togher to sell big fish... it is also hard to buy big one when you want one
