help with siler dollars

hello i have a question and i hope im wrong but do silver $ normally eat live plants in tour aquarium? i think they might but idk any help is appreciatedd

Yes, I've read that Silver Dollars will eat live plants.

Yes, elodea makes a nice treat. Also try spinach and broccoli leaves, etc.

Silver Dollars love live plants theres a few they shy away from not sure on name looks like mini lily pads .i buy bunchs of plants just to toss in for them to eat they like them baby cabage things bruslsprots how ever its spelt to lettace i have 8 in my 100 gal

Definately! Although my large redhooks would not touch them for some reason. Still silver dollars are a very worthy fish since they are peaceful and always moving around the tank. A large school of adults in a large tank is a sight to behold.

Yep they are plant eaters. Mine have even taken nibbles on the plastic ones to make sure they were not edible.
