I have a senegal bichir so they would end up as a snack for him lolCould try to put some guppy’s in to eat it
Senegal is currently only about 4-5", I know he won't eat them now but eventually he would. I have a siamese algae eater, will he eat it? I haven't really seen him go for it so far, but we've only had him for a couple weeksHow large is the Senegal?
Large mollies like sail fin, are also good at eating that kind of algae off plants, and can hit 5-7".
Sae don’t prefer red algae they’re more on the diatom diet side. You could get several Mollies and then after it’s all gone relinquish them back to the pet store.Senegal is currently only about 4-5", I know he won't eat them now but eventually he would. I've read the opposite. I personally resolved my BBA with Seachem Flourish Excel and Hydrogen Peroxide and cutting down lighting time. It took me about a month or so to resolve the issue.Sae don’t prefer red algae
I just went based off my own experience with sae and red algae. I wouldn’t use hydrogen peroxide if the tank is heavily planted though since it’ll potentially harm or kill the other plants ( had this happen to me)I've read the opposite.
