Nothing is set in stone yet but I'm trying to decide which of my fish to put in the 90 gallon that I just got. It obviously needs to cycle and such. I've narrowed it down to: 4 convicts, 1 green texas, 1 ebjd, 1 jd, 1 green terror, 6 silver dollars, and I am possibly getting 3 pictus cats. I can't have all of the fish in there so which do you think would be the best combination?

Silver dollars, jd or Green terror or green texas and 1 convict

Would the ebjd and the jd with the silver dollars work?

Im no expert on cichlids (yet, working on it) but I THINK that should be fine. Just do not and DO NOT let them breed together, then you get a genetically unstable short-lived hybrid.

I would try 1 con,1 JD,1GT.try to get males.3 SD, and 1 catfish.I know it seems like a big tank, but those fish will put on size in no time, then your gonna have to sell/re-home if you add more than that
