HELP with sword plants

hello can someone tell me what is wrong with my swords. they where find for about a month of so then noticed this in the last 2 days.
what is wrong and how do i fix.

The leaves that are dying are grown emersed. The plant is converting itself to submerged growth. Leave them there, and soon you will have a new sword. When the old leaves turn completely brown, cut them off and dispose. You can see the submerged leaves coming up from the center of the crown.
