I had originally ordered an Aqueon pre-drilled 210 gallon tank but the fish store ended up ordering the Marineland 220 pre-drilled tank. How should I respond? Is there a difference between the Aqueon and Marineland tanks? If I go with the Marineland tank, does it cost less than the Aqueon, since I had already paid for the tank.
Help is greatly needed since I meet with the owner of the pet store tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your input.

I can't advise on the difference between the manufacturer's tanks but their websites show similar tank dimensions.

I do have a 220G Perfecto (Marineland now) that I bought new in 2004? and I have not had any problem with the tank and it looks great.

I also don't know what the price difference is normally between the tanks but I would definitely ask what the difference is. If the Marineland is more than the Aqueon and you like the way the Marineland looks, see if they will abide by the original price you've already paid.

don't they both have lifetime guarantees? I think marineland requires their stand for it though.
if they're both guaranteed for life, it shouldn't matter too much.

Since you already paid for the tank they should give you the marineland tank even if it is more expensive than the aqueon option. If the aqueon is the more expensive option get some of your cash back! If you really want the aqueon make them order an aqueon one for you. Get what you want, you paid for it in your hard earned cash!

When I bought my Aqueon 210 a couple years ago the Marineland 220 was more money by a few bucks - I paid $830 for my 210 and I think the Marineland was $850.
