Situation:
I have(1) 4-5" silver aro in a 60g, a grow out tank until i move into my new place by feb at the latest, so for now i have (2) 1.5-2"-parrot cichlids along wih a 4-5" albino pleco w/ my aro. I was wondering if i should add any other fish in there so they can all grow together? or is this combo enough for my 60?. Everyone is getting along good so far, the Aro doesnt seem to mind the parrots and vice versa.
Feeding:
Aro is on a mix of Hikari sticks, frozen, live worms, occasional crickets and is eating fine with no problems:headbang2. Parrots are not picky eaters(atleast mine :grinno:) and eat flakes, food sticks, frozen or anything my aro drops.
Tank info:(if needed)
60g 48L 15W 18H
AC110-is doing great keeping everything clear but Will add AC70 (soon) to help and to have another filter cycled when i do filter media changes on 1

so after reading all that.. Any suggestions? loaches maybe?

Arowana that size should be kept alone IMO. The aro is going to outgrow that tank very quickly, best to hold off getting any more tank mates until you get a bigger tank.

yeah i know the 60 is small for a growing aro. once i move into my new place ill be moving my fish into a 180g but that will most likely be in mid JAN to FEB. i think my aro should be good for 1-2 months in a 60 till then though right? thanks for the reply

No one can say what to keep with your aro as what works for some won't work for other

as already stated 4 inch is a bit small to be mixing with other fish it's best to wait until the aro is 7-8inch so only a few months

One thing I will say it's good to start mixing asap to get the aro used to other fish my aro is about 28inch and he's in with 6inch fish he could eat with easy as he's been kept with small fish since he was 8inch

Some bottom dwellers would be a good idea, but the filtration has to be adequate to handle the bioload. I'm not sure what is available at your end, but fishes like Endies, bumble bee catfish, Jag catfish, those would be the ones I would consider since I like them and they are not likely to disturb the aro.
