I have just tested my aquarium and here are the results: Ammonia .25, Nitrite 5, Nitrate 5. I am new at this and I don't know if these are good readings or not. Help.

If you are in the middle of a fishless cycle then they are fine and i would add a little more ammonia. ---------On the other hand if you have fish in this tank then the readings are way off. And i would suggest doing a 50-75% water change immediatly. Do a search on water ever kind of cycling you are doing fishless/ cycle with fish. And read. --------------------------------Oh and your tank is not cycled that is why your readings are so far off and you probably have fish dieing.
