Help with the current usa fission nano skimmer

Do I fully sumerge the entire thing in the water? Or do I leave the top part out of the water? Currently the whole thing is underwater.

Im such a noob.

The instuctions say the water line halfway up the filter pad area.
I am still messing with mine, trying to get it to work better

I left mine with the top above the water, but it greatly effects how it works if the water level is to high/low. just fudge around with it for awhile and see what works best.

Just keep the cup above water, and the air hose. Since it's new, its going to take some time to adjust, it should be working like it should within a couple weeks. I dont have any personal experience with this skimmer, but it's pretty universal with most skimmers.

Throw it away. It will never skim efficiently, and it will always produce microbubbles.

I tried messing with this skimmer every way possible, the best thing you can do is just take out the powerhead and venturi, and just use the pump for extra circulation.
