I am looking for help in treating my tropical pond. I have what i believe to be Costia, i have treat with Sera Costapur unfortunately i am unable to get access to the treatment as my local fish store does not stock it anymore.
As i have already used one 500ml bottle of this treatment i now need to treat them again. Costapur consists of a solution of formalin and malachite green(more formaldahyde). I was wondering if FMG Mixture, which is used as a koi treatment would work as it consists of the same ingredients..
The pond consists of: Pacus, Redtail-shovelnose hybrids, Shovelnose, plecs, Pangasius, Clarius catfish, Giant gourami and a Perruno catfish. There was also an african marbled lungfish in there which was removed before treatment, are there any treatment safe to use with this fish, as i have searched the net and there is not a lot known about them.
