Help with UK d.i.y ply tank

Hi all iv just found this very interesting site I'm not afish keeper but do keep reptiles and have been looking at doing a enclosure formy Nile monitor with a pond with a viewing panel and making it out of ply woodlooks like the way to go i was just wondering if the liquid rubber we have inthe UK called Isoflex LiquidRubberis the same as the stuff in the US and Canada ? as on the tin it says Harmful to aquaticorganisms , may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment soI'm wondering if it's safe to use ?

I think you already have your answer. You need an aquarium safe coating or a water tank coating.

There must be something at your local building supply store that is pond / fish safe.

dont know if you're still watching this thread but i just found a place near chesterfield that may interest you i got rubber paint & aquarium safe silicone from there .
