help with wet/dry

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well, make sure your sump is large enough to handle the water from the overflow. Install a check valve on your pump to prevent backflow thru the pump via the returns, or drill an air hole on the tank side of the return on the top in the tank. That will break the siphon, and prevent backflow when the water level gets below the hole. By doing these things, I have never had an overflow problem. If I did, I would not be telling you this. My old lady would have long ago killed me for ruining the hardwood floors.:D

hillbilly, you get a gold star and can move to the front of the class.
