My old Rio 2100 finally gave up, I used it for my 300 Gallon tank with 75 Gallon sump.
What i did was temporarily replace it with a rio 1700 pump from my other tank.
My other tank is a 350 gallon tank with a 6x2 sump, it has 2 return pumps, a rio hf 14 and the rio 1700 which i transferred to my other tank temporarily,
now I have to buy another pump, which would be a better choice?
A rio HF 14 or a Rio HF 17?
If i get a rio HF 14, I'll be using this in my 300 gallon tank and taking my rio 1700 back to filter my 350 gallon with the rio HF 14, or would it be better to get a rio hf 17? then i'll use the rio hf 17 with thr rio 1700 for my 350 gal tank and the rio hf 14 will be used for the 300 gal?
