Help with wild-caught fish ID please

Hey MFK!
i caught two of these cichlids off a reservoir in singapore yesterday and took these photos. Sorry that they aren't very good photos..

I couldn't find any similar cichlid in singapore's freshwater fish guide and i don't think i've seen it before in my local LFS. I hope it's not an introduced species though..

i don't think it's the keyhole though, because i'm keeping keyhole cichlids in another tank as well..

nope, not keyholes

they are acaricthys heckelii, aka threadfin acara.

I think you are right, thought about it and was like no that not a keyhole.

it must be an introduced species then - there's definitely a population doing well in singapore's reservoirs.
