Hi all,

well things have calmed down great in my set up now...and everyone is getting along well...but now I have noticed this problem with my little oscar, he often has white/clear poop coming out of him, he is not quite right in himself, and seems to be rather "front heavy" if that makes any sense? in the way he looks I mean....I am wondering if anyone could look at the video I have linked and give me an idea on what they think the problem could b, I am thinking internal parasites maybe?

Thanks for any advice in advance!

yeah he was in a worse state than that bless him, but has healed amazingly fast! so another week or two and he`ll be back to his full glory hopefully!......so you think the white stringy/waxy attatchment to his normal feaces is nothing to worry about?

he may have a parasite issue. also the tilt may be due to a swim bladder issue. ... i would focus mainly on the water quality for now. Incease your waterchanges. Do a big one now 65% or so. then do 35% every day for a week. you should start to see some things clearing up.

if not , there are meds that may help. but personally i try to focus on water quality and not get into meds.

thats good, beautiful O btw. What do you feed him

Thanks, he is really quite unusual in his markings I think, I love the little guy and would hate to lose him! and he is fed on hikari cichlid gold...

thanks for the advice, I will do some more frequent water changes and hopefully that will clear things up...really don`t want to lose the little guy, so will do whatever it takes to make sure he`s healthy and happy.
