I live in australia and i really cant find any arowanas
does anyone know where too find them?
I hear of people braging bout i has so and so many arowanas but where from? They are a Very impressive fish and id love too grow one or even just have one its really hurting me looking at all the wonderful pictures and not being able too care for one myself.
(sorry for sounding dramaic i'm just in love :D)

there are 2 australian aros
the jardini and the leichardti
both are really nice to keep and are solitary fish
 
well there are only two species native to australia

However im sure you could get a silver as a pet.

Do you have the tank space required for one? They grow quite quick and depending on which species you get you will need a MEGA tank
 
from talking to people in AUS, for the best selection of fish you need to go to or deal with a store in Sydney... I would contact a store there and see if they can ship you an Aro.
 
Yes i have a 340gallon which just house tetra's and crap while i look for my aro.
ill try contacting sydney dealers too thank you all so much you have been very helpful

LOL i dont have a camera as all money goes into my fish but ill post a pic of the 8ft tetra tank soon lol!~
