Today as I was doing a WC I happen to look at the back of the tank and I notice
that tha bottom plastic trim was cracked, its about 5 inches long and about one quarter in wide
don't know how long this has been like this, but was wondering should I be nervous about this
tank size is 125gal.

On most modern glass tanks the trim is just for looks.It should be alright.

Measure the tank in several places to and compare for bowing and check the seal thickness to see if it is stretched.
