i have got a knifefish he is about 4" and hes got a red mark on his side and hes lieing on his side wat should i do ?
help me plz!

I have a feeling that when the lights go out he'll be a snack for that rtc...... I'd put him in a qt tank, with some melafix and pimafix. Make sure you have an air stone and bump the temp to around 82 or so. If you don't want to use either of those, use aquarium salt and dose as the box tells you to. But make sure if you bump up the temp you have good airation in the tank as warmer tanks rob o2 from the water.

first of all, take him out there or the rtc will make him a snack.
well, try to put some aquarium salt, taking care of the temp and water params.
it looks like he beat up in something.
try to take better shots for a clear vision on whats going on.

the pictures aren't great, but it looks like a bruise, mine had a few when i got it because it got beat up and they healed in a couple weeks

I'd say: Get the RTC out of there. There is too much of a size difference.

Separate them if at all possible asap. So the clown has a chance to live and heal.
