What would be the best and cheapest way to transfer a 4 year old Oscar 25 miles down the road?

A cooler with a lid, just fill with some water from current tank. You should not need a bubbler for such a short trip, but you can always buy one at wal-mart or such for less than $10.

i drove like three hours one time with an oscar, this is funny and im not sure if it did any good, but i took aquarium tubing and blew bubbles into his bucket when i got bored, hopin to keep him oxygenated

:iagree:
Cooler with some of his own tank water dont feed him day or two before trip bubbler if hell be in there more than 2 hrs

I dont think it helped, because we inhale O2 and exhale CO2 :) :duh: :)

its not all CO2, It probably did some good. I dunno, it at least kept the water moving, and that would have probably helped gas exchange more then the actual air you were blowing in.
