All my fish have died, im guessing its something to due with the water. i have been getting this brown or redish alge on my sand and brown on the glass. the first and second fish died from ich i looks like. the third and fourth lost color and had black spots on it and then died. i treated the tank for ich and now dk what to do. i am thinking i need to do a large water change and also do like a new good bacteria virus. any help would help. thanks to anyone who helps.

to MFK!What are your water parameters? Test your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates with API test kits. The brown to red algae are diatoms as a result of poor water conditions, poor lighting and high amounts of silicates in your tank. What species are all these fish that died? Pics of them when they were alive? If it was ich, did the fish look like it was sprinkled with salt?
